Trial Development Specialist (North West EU and Africa)

As a key player in our team, you'll be at the forefront of our assortment innovation whilst managing and conducting field trials with key accounts for spinach, swiss chard and bush beans. Your analytical skills will help us unlock new potentials and bring groundbreaking products and solutions to market. You'll collaborate with our dynamic Customer Teams and Product Managers, gathering insights and driving advancements that make a real impact.

Your responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage product performance trials to determine the added value of new varieties.

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative evaluations of trials, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Support the Product Manager in proposing Product Life Cycle advancements based on trial data.

  • Design, execute, and improve trial plans.

  • Manage and conduct field trials for baby spinach, processing beans, and fresh market beans.

  • Update Product Market Combinations independently or with distributor agents in the region, in line with the Customer Team trial plan.

  • Collaborate with Customer Teams and Product Managers to gather market, customer, and competitor information.

  • Provide high-level product information and growing advice to customers.

  • Ensure the quality and completeness of trial data.

  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management.


To seed your future, you've got the following skills:

  • Pioneering mentality with a proactive and result-oriented approach.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

  • Minimum of a B.S. in Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.

  • Experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred.

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 70% of the time).

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
