Product Development Manager
As part of our organic growth, KWS Vegetables is launching two brand new positions in Turkey: we are hiring two Product Development Managers. We are developing new competitive assortments in the market and are looking for new team members to take up this challenge!
To do this, we need one Product Development Manager for Antalya, and one in Adana, working with breeding and sales in local crop team(s), who can give input in crop strategies and market -customer intelligence. Antalya is home to our centre for indoor tomatoes, pepper and cucumbers and Adana is home to our centre for watermelons and melons.

You will develop a new assortment for PMC’s at both a local and country level.
You will design, execute and implement Crop/PMC Trial plans, in line with the global crop trial plan.
You will be a member of the local crop team(s) and you will give input to the crop strategy and the market- customer intelligence.
You will support the development and maintenance of product profiles.
You will advise on and support the introduction of strategies.
You will define growing protocols and growing concepts before commercial launching.
You will provide hierarchical and functional leadership to the Trial Developments Specialists and ensure the implementation and alignment of the trial calendar.
You have at least a B.S. in Agronomy or Horticulture.
You preferably have 3+ years of experience in the vegetable seed industry.
You are an experienced Product Development Manager.
You are fluent in English (verbal and written), other languages are an advantage.
You have strong leadership skills, with the ability to provide clarity and direction to stakeholders.
You are result-oriented, with a ‘we will make it happen’ mentality.
You have the ability to think and act at different levels.
You are prepared to keep your ‘boots on the ground’.
You are a technical, analytical, self-organizing person.
You are a proactive team player.
